Welcome to Brough

Welcome to this small corner of the web, tucked away in East Yorkshire, England. The village of Brough sits on the muddy shores of the River Humber, where the foothills of the Wolds dip their toes in its murky waters. Ten miles to the east is the city of Kingston-upon-Hull, and Brough's proximity to the M62 motorway makes the village accessible, with good road as well as rail links.

Within these pages you can read a bit about Brough's development down the centuries and gain an insight into its strong aviation traditions. You can also check-out the three village pubs, take a virtual walk down by the river at Brough Haven, and discover the truth (and a few myths) about a well known local villain!
